Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?
Yoga works on the flexibility of both the mind and the body. If you aren’t flexible, then yoga is definitely for you.
Do I need to bring a mat to class?
Yes, bring a mat and maybe even a towel. You can purchase an inexpensive mat from almost any large retailer – Target, Wal-Mart, Amazon, etc.
I’ve never taken a yoga class. Which class should I take?
Exhale Yoga offers several classes that are appropriate for people new to the yoga practice. Gentle Yoga, Yin to Flow and Yin Restore would all be great classes to take when starting your yoga journey.
How many yoga classes should I take each week?
Ideally 3-4 times per week. However, we realize not everyone’s schedule can accommodate this frequency but every minute of yoga counts. So, if you can only attend one in-studio class, try to fit in 15 or 20 minutes of deep breathing and/or slow movements at home 2-3 days per week.
How are you handling the Covid-19 pandemic?
Exhale Yoga takes the health and safety of our students seriously. Exhale Yoga follows all CDC and Kentucky healthy-at-work guidelines. Our class sizes are limited to 8 people per class, masks are required everywhere in the studio and can be removed once on the mat. We clean and disinfect after every class. We limit the use of most props. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio.
